Dragon Quest VIII[]
Making its debut, it is learned by investing 82 skill points into the Hero's Boomerang skill tree and hits all enemies for 76~84 physical Bang damage, costing 8 MP to use.
Dragon Quest IX[]
Acting the same as in its debut, it is learned by investing 42 skill points into the Boomerang skill tree, but now deals Light elemental damage from this game onwards, costing 6 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X[]
Acting the same as in IX, it is learned by investing 58 skill points into the Boomerang skill tree, and inflicts 45-55 light damage on all enemies while ignoring their defenses dependent on the user's Magical Might. Its power is increased from Version 3 onwards, as well as the latter part of 3.3 onwards by investing 160, 170, and 180 skill points into the same tree. It costs 6 MP to use once again, and is also used by Mereade during the Golden Monsters boss fight. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 7 skill points into the Hero's Boomerang skill tree.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Acting the same as in X, it is learned by investing 18 skill points into Erik's Boomerangs Character Builder. It costs 10 MP to use, and is also used by Noble dragons and Golden Boy in battle.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Learned by AU-1000s at level 25, Gold-plated puppets at level 18, Noble Dragons at level 14, Klashmi at level 22, and Wildcard at level 26, it damages all enemies while potentially dazzling them and costs 37 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned at level 20 when wielding the Platinum plumes, Swallowtail, and Dragon boomerang weapons and costs 14 MP to use. It is also learned by recruited Rockbombs and Bodkin archers at level 50, costing 28 MP to use.
