Sultan of Gallopolis is the character in Dragon Quest XI. He is the Sultan of Gallopolis, and the father of Faris.

The Sultan of Gallopolis is a small portly man. He wears a yellow tunic, a yellow hat with a green feather in it and carries a small gold staff.

Biography[]
Dragon Quest XI[]
The Sultan of Gallopolis grew up ruling the city and spoiled his son with his guards. In celebration of his son's coming of age cerimony he sold various trinkets including the Rainbough to pay for the festivities. After his son returns from training, he sets up the horseback riding competition. When he hears word of the Slayer of the Sands, he sends his son in right away to deal with the problem. After the Slayer of the Sands is defeated, the sultan bears witness to his son's lack of deeds. He apologies for putting pressure on his son and give the party direction to where the traveler he sold the Rainbough to went.
After the return of Mordegon/Calasmos, he helps the party out by giving them the forging hammer, another royal treasure.
