Making its debut, it is used by Spiked hares, Hoods, Hoodlums, Heavy hoods, Abracadabradors, Sasquashes, Buffalogres, Red horns, Bud brothers, Maniacal moles, Masqueraiders, Picky moles, King foo dogs, Dark brownies, Red fangs, Shamanjus, Brownie Ancestors, 24-carrot bunicorns, Remotes, Spiked clubs, Scary cherry blossoms, the Abominable showman, a Gold Golem during the offline portion of the game, Togrus Maximus, Maracaraider, Ladis's Witness, Yarn, Demon Gaurad, Demon Shisa Dog, Gezora, Glacial golem, Dark Hare, Gorius Vengeance, Crimson rogues, Robbin' 'ood, Tauradain, Morara Beast's Shinra Barbarian form, Akragarena, Floral Dandy, the Genesis Tree Guardian, Bad General Togrus Maximus, Rakusho Battle Shaker, Evil God Ashlay, Mysterious Demon Wolf, and Grave digger during its Strong boss fight to raise their Tension 3 to 4 levels, similar to Tension Boost. From Version 2 onwards, it can also be used by players after investing 40 skill points into a recruited Mischievous mole's Mole no Kiai and a recruited Brownie's Tension King skill trees, costing 5 MP for them to use.

Dragon Quest XI[]

An enemy only skill in this entry, it is used by Hunkorvus, as well as Glacial Golems and Gold Golems once again while the latter have gone Vicious, to increase their strength further, since Tension is not in this game.

Dragon Quest Tact[]

Known as Muster Extra Strength, it is learned by Dark Brownies at level 26, and doubles the user's physical power and recovery for 1 turn, costing 30 MP to use.
