Swipestorm is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances[]
Dragon Quest X[]
Making its main series debut, it is learned by investing 40 skill points into a recruited Great sabrecat's Speedster skill tree and inflicts about 0.9 to 1.1 times more damage 4 times in a row while potentially reducing an enemy's defense, similar to Battle Road II. It costs 9 MP to use, and can also be strengthened by investing 50 skill points in the same skill tree.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Making its debut in Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road, it is performed alongside Great Sabrecats, Walking corpses, Shades, Hellions, Jailcats, Gryphons, Silvapithecuses, Jumping jackals, Dread dragons, Riptides, Drooling ghouls, and Dragon zombies, when they are together or if the player has Steel claws, Dead claws, Crow's claws, Orichalcum claws, Beast claws, and/or the Dragonsbane. From Battle Road II onwards, it can potentially reduce an enemy's defense.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Dragon Quest Tact[]
Learned by Platypunks when they are recruited, it deals 28% potency physical damage on one enemy 4 times and costs 4 MP to use.
