Tackle is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances[]
Dragon Quest X[]
Making its debut, it is used by Knight errants, Knight aberrants, Knight abhorrents, Knights of the white rose, Magic Solider Hypnos, Prison Secretary Rosinaze, and Demon gate guard to damage enemies, as well as potentially stunning them for a turn. However, it is rarely seen.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Acting the same as in X, it is once again used by Knight errants, Knight aberrants, and Knight abhorrents in battle, as well as the Knight Aberrant boss in Damdara. In addition, a Pep Power of this ability makes its debut.
Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Already learned by Yangus when he joins the party, it is used by pressing the R2 button (ZR in the Nintendo Switch version) to deal a small amount of damage to enemies and is useful in dropping a Restless armour monster's guard. However, the invincibility time is short and it makes the user vulnerable to ranged attacks. In the sequel, it is also used by Torneko Taloon and Carver.
Dragon Quest Tact[]
Already learned by King squids, Maulruses, Grim riders, Grim grinners, Tiger jackals, and Cactuars when they are recruited, it damages one enemy while moving them 2 squares up, provided there are no other enemies or obstacles between them. It costs 7 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by recruited Trolls at level 30 and recruited Funghouls and Great sabrecubs at level 50, costing 24 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi![]
Appearing as the skill for the Grim golem, it rushes its hard body and damages all enemies and erasers in a diamond-shaped range.
Dragon Quest Champions[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 20 when wielding the Bandit axe and costs 11 MP to use.
