Tatsunogi is a boss monster in Dragon Quest X.

Biography[]
A follower of Amakamushika, he is found by the Hero and their companions in the deepest part of the God Beast Forest, posing as a tree in the middle of the lake. Tatsunogi awakens and fights the Hero, under the belief that they are trying to harm one of the Astoltia's divine beasts. After the fight, he attempts to attack again, but Amakamushika stops him saying that the Hero is his guest. Tatsunogi angrily asks why, so the Hero explains their quest to stop The Nadraga Cult and needs his help with the other divine beasts to succeed. Amakamushika bows before the Hero and they give him an accessory which the dragon admires. Amakamushika takes his leave and Tatsunogi goes back to sleep, while the Hero continues their quest.
