Usage

This template is used for showing an enemy that is special in some attribute, and you want to make a note on it.

Parameters

Parameter name Optional? Function and description
type Yes Type of the monster, value can be "normal", "mini boss" or "boss".

See Parameter: <Monster Type> for detail.

includeAttrs Yes An option that includes a list of attributes of the monster.

See Extended parameters for the list of attributes

Note: if <type> parameter is not used, an extra pipe ( | ) is needed before this parameter.

num No Bestiary number of the monster, must contain 3 digits.
name No Name of the monster.
family No Family of the monster.
See Parameter: <family> for detail.
image No Filename of the image of the monster.
size Yes Manual width of the image.
hp No Hit point of the monster.
mp No Magic point of the monster.
atk No Attack point of the monster.
def No Defense point of the monster.
agi No Agility point of the monster.
exp No Experience point awarded by defeating the monster.
gold No Number of gold coins awarded by defeating the monster.
drop No Items possible to drop after defeating the monster.
note No Additional info about the monster.
location Yes Where the monster haunts or is met.

Optional Parameters

  • <type> can be used to show different type of enemy, <type> parameter can be: "normal", "mini boss", or "boss".
  • <size> can set the width of the image displayed. By default, a normal and notable monster are set to 100 px, Mini-bosses to 150 px and Boss monsters to 200 px.
  • <note> is used to enter some notices about the monster, it can work as description as well; thus, the header "Note:" was removed.
  • <location> can be used to show where the monster roams or met

Parameter: <Monster Type>

Add a parameter to show different types of monster, this parameter changes the color theme, some settings in texts, and the default size of the image.

Normal Monsters

Use "|normal" to show a normal monster, usually used for showing an event-encountered monster. They can be met in other places as roaming enemies, but are met because of an event at a place they do not roam.

Parameter: <family>

The parameter <family> is used to show the family that the monster belongs to. The value must starts with a capital letter.

Background color

The background color of the image will change automatically according to the family of the monster, by default it is the same as ??? family (Reddish orange). Other colors are:

  • Slime - Wild green
  • Beast - Faded crimson
  • Bird - Grayish blue
  • Bug - Yellowish green
  • Dragon - Light sky blue
  • Plant - Leaf green
  • Material - Grayish violet
  • Machine - Light grey
  • Zombie - Light purple
  • Demon - Dark grey
  • Elemental - Bright yellow
  • Humanoid - Fleshy pink
  • Aquatic - Water blue
  • Unknown - Reddish orange

Parameter: <includeAttrs>

Use this parameter to show a list of attributes resistance of the enemy. Recommended to use this on a Boss or mini boss.
