• Popp does not make an incantation before casting a Sizz spell.
• Maam picks up Hyunckel's discarded Insignia of Avan.
• Removed corpses from Bartos's assault on Hyunckel's village
• Removed Leira and Loca's sequence entirely. Removed Hadlar's death scene.
• Showed Avan and Hyunckel's first exchange.
• After defeating Hyunckel, Avan has his regrets monologue in the river instead of the top of the hill.
• Removed the explanation that Dai's Avan Strash imitation was effective only thanks to the Dragon Crest. Added flashbacks of Dai using the mark.
• Crocodine arrives riding Garuda and does not release it from a Magic Cylinder.
• Added Crocodine's flashback of his battle with Dai
• Removed Garuda's face reaction from Baduck's appearance and gave lines to him
• Does not show that Dark Puppetry actually can controls Dai's moves
• Hyunckel does not punch Crocodine when trying to remove his sword
• Garuda picks up Dai's sword in its beak

Trivia

• Bartos does not have the same colour scheme as the other Armfuls seen in the episode, who had a reddish tint.
• When showing Hadlar's death from episode 1, he did not let out the death scream from this episode's flashback.
• Although the special effects make it difficult to see, Avan kept his sword sheathed against the Bloody Scryed.
• In this episode, 魔法力 is translated as Dark Power instead of Magic Power.
• Dai, Popp and Maam's outfits are updated in the opening
