"Dragon Master General Baran" (竜騎将バラン, "Ryūkisho Baran") is the twenty fourth episode of the 2020 2D and CG animated TV series, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. It aired on 20 March 2021.

  • Hyunckel does not monologue about being a Legion Commander would make the Carl knight despise him
  • No blood from Horkins corpse
  • Hyunckel destroys the rumble over Horkins' body using his aura
  • Monsters are added to the battle between dragons, darklings and humans. The flying darklings are equipped with a sword which make them look like soaring scourgers
  • Merle has no vision of what's happening in the temple
  • Hadlar has no inner comment about being in Vearn's room
  • Hadlar does not protest when Piroro accuse him of hiding Baran and Dai relationship and Zaboera has no inner thoughts about it and whether he should shift his alliance
  • Vearn teleports in the room, the manga had walking soud effects
  • No Matoriv flashback
  • Hadlar does not state that Dai can't win when hoping for him to
  • No flashback of Baran witnessing the Avan Strash
  • Popp does not comment on Zap Strash being what defeated Hyunckel
