Avan asks Hadlar if he remembers their clash from 15 years ago when he offered Avan to join his ranks, giving him half the world, which Avan refused. The fighting spirit of Avan sprang from his body and screams that Hadlar does not know pity, and even if he had accepted he would have been kill anyway. Avan added that as Hadlar is just an underling, Avan does not believe that Vearn would allow him to offer half the world. Hadlar angry at this insult decides to not spare the disciple of Avan. Brass and Pop get scared by looking at his master trying to counter the Kaboom of Hadlar by Avan Strash. After the spotlight explosion, Dai sees that Avan's attack managed to scrape Hadlar. Hadlar remarks that this attack is dangerous as he has already been killed once by it. Hadlar, heals, and adds that now it is not as dangerous anymore. Pop and Dai are afraid for their master. Pop, restrains Dai from going. Dai replied that he would fight. Pop find it crazy to attack the Supreme Commander. Dai notes that Avan has almost no energy because he used Puff! to train him and Brass states that this technique consumes 3-4 times more energy than normal spells. Pop wonders if Avan reached those limits.
When Hadlar would give the final blow to Avan, Dai attacks Hadlar who easily stops the sword strike. Pop rushes to retrieve Dai. Hadlar tells them that they are so insignificant, they should stay away. Then, when the party goes behind Hadlar. Hadlar remarks that he bleeds, and realizes that it was from Dai earlier assault. Annoyed Hadlar prepares to launch a powerful attack at them. Fearing for them, Avan jumps at Hadlar's blow, ending with a big explosion.
