The Azimuth is a small town in Dragon Quest IV. Located on Central Island, it is said to be the nearest point on the surface world to both Zenithia and Nadiria.

Version differences[]
- In the remake versions' sixth chapter, a hole opens up in the town altar, leading to the bonus dungeon.
- In the NES original, the normal town music plays whilst in the Azimuth. In the remakes, it is replaced with the music heard in a shrine, signifying the town's status as a holy sanctuary.
