The Holy Isle of Neos is a large island located between Argonia and Maella Abbey, being approximately in the center of the world.

Despite being a barren and dry landscape, its only settlement, simply known as Neos, is one of the most important religious locations, second to only Savella Cathedral, as it holds one of the wonders of the world, a gigantic statue of the Goddess carved into its central mountain, sculpted by the great Sage Alexander himself. As such a small and spartan town had been constructed at the footsteps of the statue, mostly comprised of overstuffed hostels for peregrins, small shops selling trinckets and statues to tourists, and more luxuorious lodgings for church higher ups and Templar Knights. The centerpiece of the town was however a large auditorium, right under the statue, where the most important announcements were declared. Unbeknownst to most of the world however, the Goddess statue was created to hide the Lord of Darkness Rhapthorne' body, with his grim flying fortress, the Black Citadel, also hidden underneath the mountain. In the badlands ouside the town, two Infamous monsters can be found, the Living statue Talos just south of town and the Gold Golem Goldman in the area just east of town during the day.

Two months after his assasination of the Lord High Priest, Marcello held a grand speech at the auditorium. declaring to the world his manifesto of overthrowing every single goverment in the world, taking then the spectators hostages at sword-point thanks to his loyal Templar Knights into joining him or be slain. Just then however he is confronted by the party, who had tracked him down to both retrive the Godbird Sceptre housing Rhapthorne and to put a stop to his megalomania. With Marcello beginning to succomb to the Lord of Darkness control even before the clash, he was then completly taken over after he is weakened by his defeat. The city is plunged into darkness, and Rhapthorne pierced the throat of the Goddess statue with the Godbird Sceptre, reuniting with his body and reawakening the Black Citadel. With the fortress rising up in the sky, the Holy Isle of Neos was completly devastated, leaving a massive and seemingly bottomless crater where once the auditorium and the mountain stood. Marcello, left hanging to the very edge of the abyss and rapidly losing grip, was then saved, much to his chagrin, by his half-brother Angelo, which the former had loathed ever since his birth. Left a ruined man Marcello then decided to leave his Templar Captain's ring to Angelo and leave, badly hurt but alive.

Following this catastrophe, Neos no longer has any working facility, so Shop, or Inn. In the 3DS version, once the Black Citadel had risen into the skies, the party, under suggestion from Kalderasha, visited the ruined Neos once again; once done so, Jessica, who once was possesed by Rhapthorne, had a vision, pointing the group to direct themselves towards the Dragon Graveyard. There, a magic crystal containing the wisdom of the ancient sage Golding, informed the group of Juggerwroth and his foul Altar of Wroth.
