Tongue fu fighter is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics[]
Tongue-fu fighters most closely resemble anteaters with their elongated snouts, and are plump pinkish creatures with bird-like feet and short arms. Despite their build, they are able to jump in the air and twirl their long tongues that extend beyond their snouts, charging toward their target while spinning the tongue like a chain flail. Isolated, these low-level brawlers pose little threat; but mobs can cause trouble for an underleveled and under-equipped party.
