The Tower of Rubiss is a dungeon in Dragon Quest III.

Biography[]

Formerly a place of worship, it is where Rubiss is imprisoned by Zoma after he defeats her and rules over Alefgard with an iron fist. Erdrick and his companions venture into the dungeon to free her with the Faerie flute, overcoming direction-altering tiles and the Lord of the Underworld's various minions in the process, as well as the Soul of Baramos in the HD-2D Remake. The tower itself would later be the Rain Shrine years later in Dragon Quest.
