Etymology[]

  • Being a bokor in a deep shade of blue, this demon's name is read "true blue voodoo". "True blue" is an English-language expression meaning "sincerely genuine", "the real deal" or similar.
  • This monster’s name in DQIII, ”Darth voodoo”, is a pun on Darth Vader, a character in the Star Wars franchise.
