Unbridled Blade is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest X[]
Making its debut, it is learned by investing 140 skill points into the Greatsword skill tree, and inflicts 3.9 to 4.1 times the damage to one monster. It costs 6 MP to use, and is also used by Brigitte and Alvin when he fights alongside the Hero, and the Lost Hero in battle against the Hero. In the Offline version of the game, it is a Coup de Grâce learned by investing 10 skill points into Hussar's Greatsword skill tree and 14 skill points into the Hero's Greatsword skill tree after clearing the 1st Skill Panel Expansion sidequest, costing 75% Tension to use.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Learned by investing 16 skill points into the Luminary's Greatsword Character Builder, and 25 skill points for Hendrik's, it acts the same as in X, dealing 290%~310% damage to a single enemy, but it cannot deal a critical hit. It costs 16 MP to use, and is used alongside Rab's Clear Your Mind skill for the Disruptive Wave Pep Power, and Jade's Puff-Puff for the Buff-Buff Pep Power.

Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Only appearing in the Switch port, it is learned by Ragnar McRyan having a proficiency level of 10. Unlike its previous appearances, it does not cost MP to use, but otherwise acts the same.
Dragon Quest Tact[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by Restless armours via their Talent Blossoming and costs 42 MP to use. It is used by the Royal reptile in the Zap-type Upgrade quest on Hell difficulty.
