Making its debut, it is learned by the Well wisher vocation at Rank 3, Dancer and Jester vocations through Hybrid abilities in the PS1 original, the Jester vocation at Rank 6 in the 3DS remake, and is already learned by Sir Mervyn when he joins the party, causing enemies to laugh. It costs 0 MP to use, and is used by the Almighty in battle.
Dragon Quest VIII[]
Learned by Yangus after allocating 55 skill points into his Humanity skill tree, it can stun enemies in this entry and shares a similar relationship to War Cry as Kasnooze does to Snooze, carrying two pairs of boxer shorts when he uses the ability in battle. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Tap devils and Caped caperers in battle.
Dragon Quest XI[]
An enemy only-skill, it can cause enemies to laugh for the first time since VII, and is used by Dancing devils, Crack-billed platypunks, Fandangows, Golden globes, and the Revivalist.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Reappearing in the very first game of this spinoff series, it is used by scanning an SP card of Yangus who uses his two pairs of boxing shorts once again, increasing the user's chance of landing a critical hit by 75%.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Learned by the Almighty Numen at level 16, it acts differently from its usual appearances, dealing non-elemental dance damage to all enemies while potentially confusing them. It costs 41 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Learned by equipping the Eight and Yangus heart, it makes all enemies dance, similar to Sultry Dance. It costs 18 MP to use, and is used by Well wishers in battle.
Dragon Quest Champions[]
Stunning enemies for the first time since VIII, it is used by Fandangows once again.
