Biography[]
During the war with the neighbouring kingdom of Corlane, Prince Vigore was able to slay its king, Linache and Aria's father, personally. Thanks to this achievement, Vigore was able to oust his own father from the throne, becoming king himsef.
Some years later, Vigore, now the king of one of the two kingdoms of the Wenna Islands of the past, he was set to marry Linache herself, now the queen of the Corlane kingdom, in order to secure peace. However, Vigore was a vile, ambitious man, and fearing she would become more powerful than him, he instead murdered Linache in cold blood, planning to frame his brother Carumo for the crime, and then marry Aria, Linache's far less powerful, and easier to control, sister. Fortunately, his heinous plot was discovered by Aria, and Vigore was dethroned and sent to jail.
Imprisoned, executed, and buried for his crimes alongside his followers in the Jureida, Vigore's ghost, now much more apathetic, was met during a sidequest, where Cathlan once again caused mischief, and ended up cursed by the ghost of Abcart for having disturbed Vigore's grave. The stolen treasure in question was the engagement ring he had given to Linache, who he had willed to be buried with him; in his own, twisted way, it would seem that Vigore cared for her. Upon it being returned, Vigore had Abcart lift the curse on Cathlan.
