Biography[]
This dungeon is visited by the Hero to find Cantlin's Priest, who was taken by Spiketail after the human vowed that Erdrick's armaments would not be taken by the Dragonlord's army. After the Hero enters Spiketail's hideout and fights his way through several monsters, he hears Cantlin's Priest being interrogated by Spiketail and his Dragonfly minions for information on where the other armaments of Erdrick can be found, though the Priest proves resilient to the torture and refuses to divulge any information, causing Spiketail to berate the Priest and attack him with another fire breath attack. By the time the Hero ventures deeper, a Merchant from Damdara is brought in to suffer the wrath of Spiketail and his Dragonfly minions, much to the Cantlin Priest's shock, which Spiketail maliciously comments on as humans caring for each other being their greatest weakness. before demanding where Erdrick's armaments can be found, causing the Priest to confess the location of the Ultimate key. When the Cantlin Priest demands the Merchant from Damdara back after keeping his end of the bargain, who is revealed to be his son, Spiketail goes back on his word, saying there was no bargain to begin with and he and his minions were ordered to kill all humans, enraging the Cantlin Priest who calls him a faithless scoundrel, though Spiketail gleefully tells him he would be the first to fry for his insolence, much to his son's horror. Just then, the Hero arrives, killing 2 Dragonflies and engaging Spiketail and the other 2 Dragonflies shortly afterwards, who are later reinforced by more Dragonflies. After a battle between the Hero and 6 Dragonflies, Spiketail curses the loss of his Dragonflies and flees the Isle in search of the Ultimate Key. Afterwards, the Cantlin Priest is laying wounded on the ground while his son bemoans it was his fault Spiketail and his Dragonfly henchmen were able to capture him, but the Cantlin Priest tells him that living was the best thing and thanks the Hero for coming to his aid. He later apologies as well, saying the Dragonlord's minions have Erdrick's armaments in their grasp and prays that the Hero will deliver all of Alfegard from the Dragonlord's evil before passing away, much to his son's horror. After the Ultimate Key is obtained in Kol after defeating Spiketail, the Hero visits the Isle one last time to get Erdrick's shield.
