Whopper Chop is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest IX[]
It is a guaranteed to critical strike for 150-200 damage. Lunges at enemy with a catastrophic axe swing that deals between 180~220 base damage. This technique is Strength dependent, and will reach a maximum range of 460~500 when the user's strength reaches 600. It requires the 'Advanced Axecraft' scroll in the character's inventory to use by completing the 100 skill point axe quest, received at Swinedimples Academy. However, it will not work on Metal Slime monsters.
