The Book of Satori (known as the Zen Scroll in the Game Boy Color version, and Words of Wisdom in the iOS/Android versions) is an item in III
Use
This item is used to change a level 20 character in to a sage. The Hero/Heroine cannot turn into a sage. A Goof-off does not need the Book of Satori to turn into a sage, though it takes a bit of leveling up to do.
Location
The Book of Satori is found in the Tower of Garuna, just north of the Shrine of Dharma. In the GBC remake, another one can be found in a house at Rimuldar
