Wrecking ball

The wrecking ball (Magic Ball in the NES version, Magic Bomb in the GBC version) is a key item in Dragon Quest III. It is used to open the path in the Path of Promise in order to proceed to Romaria.

Obtaining

The bomb is created by a man in the village of Reeve. He gives a bomb to the heroes when the visit him. In order to enter his house, the heroes must use the Thief's key.

Usage

The bomb is used against a wall blocking the path within the Path of Promise. Once placed on the wall, a special animation takes place and the wall is destroyed by the bomb.
