Biography[]

Yafagil is the Dark Deity of Forbiddance, one of seven evil gods created by Jagonuba. He wields a mastery over barriers and wards in order to bind, restrict, and obstruct anyone that would stand in his master's way.

When Yafagil was defeated by the Goddess Luciana in the age of the gods, he was sealed away inside a shrine located on the Elven continent of Eltona. When the Hero and Illusia undertook the trials inside that shrine to reawaken Luciana, Nalasia, now under the full control of Jagonuba, broke the seal on the shrine, freeing Yafagil from his imprisonment. Yafagil followed the vessel of his master's soul to Rufa Temple, where the ritual to reunite the souls of the two great deities with their bodies would take place.

When the Hero, Anlucia, and Shaka arrive at Rufa Temple, they are obstructed by Yafagil. Using the new god-slaying technique he acquired from training with the Six Saints, Shaka takes down Yafagil with a single blow, but then a copy of him appears, which is then taken out by Anlucia. A second copy then appears, and the previous two Yafagils revive, revealing that he is one existence split across three bodies, and that as long as one survives, the others will revive over and over. The three Yafagils then create a barrier that seals off the upper levels of Rufa Temple, and each fly off to towers surrounding the main structure.

In order to remove the barrier to the upper levels, the Hero's party splits up into three groups in order to defeat the three Yafagils at the same time. After flawlessly coordinating with each other, they succeed, but before they can celebrate, each clone attempts to self-destruct to destroy the teleporters leading the the upper part of the main temple structure. Two of them succeed, but the third is stopped by Estelle, who shoves him out of the way just before he explodes.
