Zin is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances[]
Dragon Quest III 2D-HD Remake[]
Only appearing in the game's 2D-HD remake, it is learned by Priests at level , and costs 5 MP to cast for the first time since its debut.
Dragon Quest X[]
Making its debut, it is learned by Priests at level 10, Minstrels at level 13, Rangers at level 15, Sages at level 12, and Death Masters at level 53, as well as 12 skill points invested into the Slime's Slaforce skill tree, 3 skill points for the Hat hamwitch's Buhib heal skill tree and 25 skill points for the Chiryo skill tree after a recruited monster's 4th reincarnation. It revives a party member for 1 HP, similar to Kazing in its debut game, and costs 5 MP to use. However, its success rate is low, so caution should be taken. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by the Hero at level 4 and the same levels in the Priest, Minstrel, Ranger, and Sage vocations, in addition to already being learned by Prince Laguas when he joins the party and by Fuura at level 24.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[]
Appearing as a spell for the Rune staff, it acts the same as in X.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is already learned when wielding the Twilight broom and when the player is in the Paladin vocation. It costs 15 MP to cast.
Dragon Quest Champions[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Glow stick and costs 25 MP to cast.
